This magnificent thatched Grade II listed property was built for an American businessman as a model dairy around 1928. At the time it set standards for hygiene and efficient dairy farming in England. After being sold in 1938 it was further developed into racing stables. Farming ceased in 1972 when the estate was split up and sold. Sadly, the building was devastated by an idiot arsonist in July 2015, causing £3.5m damage. And then in October 2019 it was further damaged by fire. Today, it remains a shadow of its former self.
