Unfortunately, this fine building no longer graces the High Street. You can see where it was, next to the Codicote Parish Council offices. In its day, this farmhouse was one of the oldest buildings in Codicote, with farmland behind it. Early 20th century residents served the local community with a varied range of jobs - a painter and glazier, a grocery shop owner, a tea salesman, a popular pie maker and of course farmworkers.
